Forever Skies Wins Best Indie Game Award at PGA 2025

Far From Home showcased Forever Skies at Poznań Game Arena 2025 — the largest gaming industry event in Poland. The game was noticed by the event organizers, who awarded Forever Skies the title of Best Indie Game of the show.

From October 24–26, attendees of Poznań Game Arena 2025 had the opportunity to visit the Far From Home booth, where they could experience Forever Skies firsthand. This marked the studio’s second major industry showcase appearance in recent months, following Gamescom 2025. Once again, their efforts were acknowledged: in Cologne, Forever Skies received a nomination for the Gamescom Awards in the “Games for Impact” category. In Poznań, the game was also noticed, earning the Best Indie Award — the top honor for independent titles at the event.

Beyond gameplay, the Far From Home booth offered insights into the company’s mission and values. A dedicated section highlighted the studio’s collaboration with Whale and Dolphin Conservation, aimed at protecting marine mammals. The event also featured a special promotion for a charity bundle, including a dolphin statuette DLC for Forever Skies.

Poznań Game Arena (PGA) is the largest video game and multimedia festival in Central and Eastern Europe, attracting tens of thousands of fans from Poland and abroad each year. Every October, the halls of the Poznań International Fair transform into a hub of digital entertainment, where visitors can play the latest titles and test cutting-edge hardware from leading manufacturers. The event is held in parallel with the Game Industry Conference (GIC), dedicated to game developers.

Participation in the competition was reserved exclusively for PGA exhibitors. Winners were selected by a jury composed of prominent figures from the gaming industry.
