Okapi Charity Artifact OUT NOW + New QoL Patch Coming Next Week

We have two new topics to share with you today, so let’s get into it!
Okapi Charity DLC
As you may know, our team at Far From Home is committed to various efforts that help preserve nature. We have supported a couple of initiatives in the past that you, as players, have also helped contribute to by purchasing our charity DLCs, where all profits are donated directly to the supported charities.
So in celebration of World Okapi Day on October 18th, we’re very proud to announce we've created the Okapi Charity Artifact, a new one-off DLC that is now available on Steam, PS5, and XBOX!
This release continues our ongoing partnership with Fundacja DODO, and their okapi conservation efforts. Okapis (sometimes known as forest giraffes or zebra giraffes) are classified as highly endangered and are native to only a small area of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The Okapi Charity Artifact lets you decorate your airship with an ornate jar that emanates a warm glow, features falling leaves, and, of course, contains a little mechanical okapi inside. Players can interact with it to trigger its animation and print multiple copies to spruce up their airship interiors, all for a great cause.
As you would expect, 100% of Far From Home’s proceeds from this DLC will go to the DODO Foundation

QoL & Content Patch Coming Next Week
In addition to the new charity DLC, we have also been working on improving Forever Skies. The Final Echoes Plus Patch (Ver.1.3.1) will be released on all platforms next week. This patch will include a bunch of new features that we initially planned to be released within The Final Echoes Update (Ver.1.3.0), but they just weren’t quite ready at the time.
Airship Strafing
Airship Strafe mechanics were the most popular community suggestion on our Feature Upvote site for some time, and next week, they finally become a reality. This is a feature that will be available to players from the start of the game.
Fully-Automatic Airship Doors
Automatic Airship Doors and Improved Sticky Notes were also very popular QoL improvement requests on our Feature Upvote site too. Airship Strafe and Automatic Doors in particular both had over 1000 upvotes from you, so we can’t wait to deliver these to you next week.
In addition, the Final Echoes Plus patch will also include one brand new side quest, where players can reclaim the rewards that were made available in our Spring Event from earlier this year. If you didn’t get around to claiming the decor items back then, they’re now going to be permanently accessible via this new quest.
