Who is this information applicable to?

The information applies to the people involved in the development of Forever Skies (the "Game"), who have consented to their details being made available in the Game's credits.

Who is responsible for processing your personal data?

The controller, i.e. the entity responsible for processing your personal data, is Far From Home S.A. (hereinafter referred to as "FFH" or "we/us") with its registered office in Wrocław at Łaciarska 4/402, 50 - 104 Wrocław.

How did FFH obtain your data?

Directly from you, when agreeing to share your data in the credits of the Game.

What kind of your data do we process?

In the course of conducting the survey in order to collect your consent to share your data in the credits of the Game, we process the following data:
 

  • first name, last name, nickname, company, mailing address, email address, phone number, other contact information you provide, or other numbers that identify you or your business; the name of a business partner or associate you represent;

 

Why does FFH process your data?

FFH processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  1. conducting a survey and receiving permission to share your data in the credits of the Game;

  2. inserting your name in the subtitles informing about the people who took part in the development of the game produced by the Company, if you expressed your will and consent in this regard,

  3. ongoing communication with you;

  4. keeping records showing the rights and obligations of the FFH;

  5. where applicable, purposes relating to the assertion or defense of claims, including the conduct of litigation, arbitration or mediation;

  6. documenting the processing of personal data, i.e. ensuring accountability.

 

Legal basis i.e. why is FFH authorized to process personal data?

  • due to our legal obligations, as stipulated by law - on the basis of Article 6 (1) (c) GDPR

  • based on the consent you gave in the survey - on the basis of Article 6 (1) (a) and (b) GDPR

  • for the purpose and to the extent necessary due to the fulfillment of our legitimate interests - conducting business communications and protecting FFH's rights. - on the basis of Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR

 

Do you have to provide FFH with your personal information?

It is not mandatory to provide data, but it is necessary for us to conduct communication and make your data available in the subtitles. If you do not provide us with data, it may be difficult or impossible to take these actions.

 

What are your rights as to the processing of personal data?

You have the right to access, rectify or erase data, restrict processing, transfer data, not be subject to automated decision-making, including profiling, and you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data. You can exercise your rights in the following situations:
 

  • as for the right to rectify data: if the data is incorrect or incomplete;

  • as to the right to erasure: if the personal data is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected by the FFH;

  • you have withdrawn the consent on which data processing is based (to the extent of that consent); you object to data processing; the data were processed unlawfully; the data should be deleted due to legal obligations;

  • regarding restriction of processing: if the data is incorrect - for a period of time to allow FFH to verify the correctness of the data; if the data has been processed unlawfully, but you do not want it deleted; if FFH no longer needs your data, but you may need it to bring claims or defend against claims; if you object to data processing - until it is determined whether the legitimate grounds override the grounds for the objection;

  • regarding the right to data portability: if the processing is based on either consent or a contract we have entered into and is carried out by automated means.
     

You have the right to file a complaint regarding FFH's processing of your personal data with the local data protection authority in your country of residence or with the President of the Data Protection Office in Poland.

In what situations can you object to the processing of your data?

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data when it is processed on the basis of a legitimate interest, and the objection is based on your particular situation.

Who does FFH share your personal information with?

FFH shares your personal data with the following categories of entities that support FFH in the processing of personal data:
 

  • electronic signature operators to help us contract;

  • entities that provide the project management and content sharing tools we use at FFH;

  • auditors, actuaries, law firms and legal and tax law firms serving FFH.

 

These entities act on our behalf and are required to act in accordance with data protection laws, so you don't have to worry about anything.
 

We may also share your personal information with courts or government agencies if necessary for us to comply with the law.
 

Your personal information will also be shared in the credits of a game produced by FFH, if you agree. In such a situation, your data will be processed in accordance with the principles indicated in this notice.
 

Objection or withdrawal of consent to the processing of data does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.

How long will FFH store your data?

  • In the case of retention of documents to demonstrate the rights of the FFH - for the duration of the rights;

  • In the event that you exercise your rights regarding data processing - for as long as necessary to fulfill our legal obligations and ensure accountability.

  • In the case of processing in accordance with your consent - the data will be stored for the period of production and sale of the Game, and in the Game will be disclosed for the period of time that the user of this game will have access to it and deletion of such data will not be technically possible.

 

To which countries outside the European Economic Area does FFH transfer your data?

Your data may be processed, stored or transferred to the United States as part of FFH's use of e-signature operators, project management tools and content sharing. If this is the case, we ensure an adequate level of protection for your data and rely on legally recognized grounds for sharing data, such as EU standard contractual clauses.

Does FFH process your personal data automatically (including through profiling) in a way that affects your rights?

Your personal data will not be used for automated decision-making, including through profiling. By profiling we mean the processing of your data in the form of using it to evaluate certain information about you, in particular to analyze or forecast your personal preferences and interests.
