Ver.1.3.1 | #46575 | 01.003.016 | 1.3.16.0

Greetings scientists,

Great news, Forever Skies Ver.1.3.1 is out now! We’re calling this the “Final Echoes Plus” patch, as it includes various features and fixes based on your feedback on The Final Echoes Update. We’ve also added a few features that we originally had to cut from the update, but we've since found some time to revisit and deliver them after all.

Discount - 60% Off

Before we get into it, we quickly wanted to let you know that Forever Skies will be 60% off on Steam! The discount will be live in just a few hours. So if you were considering taking the plunge, there has never been a better time to take to the skies. The offer ends on November 4th.

What's Included in Ver.1.3.1?

Let's take a look at some of the highlights of The Final Echoes Plus. We have mostly focused on QoL features, suggested by YOU for this patch. In fact, three of the four showcased features below came from the top of our Feature Upvote board.

Airship Strafing - Let's begin with the feature that was the top-most requested addition on our Feature Upvote board. With over 1,200 upvotes, we’re excited to be including airship strafing in Ver.1.3.1. Simply toggle between turning and strafing via the Helm controls to make handling your airship a whole lot easier. This feature will be available to players right from the start of the game.

Sidequest: Surely, It’s Black Magic - This side quest takes players to the Odyssey Theatre Landmark in the New Nature biome. This side quest gives players a second chance to pick up the rewards that were made available during the Spring Event from earlier this year. The rewards, which are a range of airship decor and glass paint blueprints, are now permanently available in the game via this quest. Bringing the total number of side quests in Forever Skies up to 20.

Improved Sticky Notes - The current Sticky Notes have been improved and made more intuitive. You can now select any combination of options to fill in the five available fields. Choose from different categories, such as Resources, Rooms, Directional Arrows, Consumables and more.

Automatic Airship Doors - It’s a simple addition to the game, but having doors that automatically open and close, especially in larger airships, can make a world of difference. And if you wish to keep some doors manual, that’s ok too, as players can toggle between the two settings.

On top of all this, the patch also includes additional improvements and fixes. Check below for the full patchnotes.
